I’ve been riding with Spencer’s form and have been at a profit and the Braves are the team to go with here. Last time the Braves lost when Spencer started it was against the Dodgers in a big blowout but after that he has delivered in five games straight. Sonny Gray only has a better ERA than Spencer because he has played fewer games, but when you look at Sonny Grays ERA in the last week its 5.40 while Spencer is at 1.50. Sonny Gray is also very inconsistent i cannot back the Twins as underdogs here. The Braves have the better team, offensively and defensively and should kickstart this series with a home win.

The Rangers are 3rd in the American league but if you look at only their home games then they move to 2nd. They play better at the Globe Life Field and are the team to back here. The last series between these two the Rangers won 2-1 and that was in Detroit. Detroit are 2nd bottom when it comes to RBI’s with only 275 while the Rangers are first with 439 and majority of these where produced at the Globe Life Field. Mathew Boyd has already lost to the Rangers this season, he pitched 6 innings allowing 5 hits and 5 runs that game. Andrew Heaney will lead his team to a home win here.
