In another year, it might’ve been the moment Liverpool won the league. Mo Sissoko bearing down on goal with Heung-Min Son at his side. Between them, the inimitable frame of Virgil van Dijk. Unfortunately for Reds’ fans, it was not to be. However, the Dutchman gets another shot at glory on Saturday and he’s not likely to let this one slip passed him.

The memories of last year’s showpiece are still vivid, but with Allison behind and a different Liverpool side in front of him, this time things could be different. Should Liverpool manage to shutout Spurs in Madrid, Van Dijk will be the one taking the plaudits. And you’ll be taking the profits.
