It’s not every day you stumble across a kit launch that’s worth a share. It’s normally just some glossy photoshoot in a kit that is two shades lighter or darker than the one of the season just passed.

Sure, they may mention some historic anniversary or slight change to the badge, but on the whole, it’s pretty boring stuff. Not for the folks from the South Coast of England.

The Saints produced a commendable effort a couple years back with this sleek animation, but this is going to take some topping.

A clear jab at the Netflix FYRE Festival documentary from earlier this year, this six-minute mockumentary is pure gold.

Featuring more than a few references of the aforementioned FYRE Festival, the video follows the story of dreamer Mbilly McFarmer as pitches the Southampton kit launch on an exotic island as part of the SAYNTS Festival.

Starring some Southampton players including Danny Ings and Nathan Redmond including a pretty good turn from manager Ralph Hasenhüttl, there’s a lot to love about it.
