WATCH: RASSIE ERASMUS COACHES NEW TACKLING TECHNIQUE

Rassie Erasmus has stuck to his word and is coaching the Springboks a new ‘very effective’ tackling technique in the wake of the Springboks’ loss to England.

In the post match interview, Erasmus paid tribute to Farrell’s tackle and vowed to practice the tackling technique if it was deemed legal.

“If it’s legal we just have to latch on and do it the same… If it was legal we should just do it because it’s very effective,” Erasmus said

“To tackle a guy like Andre Esterhuizen and stop him in his tracks, that’s unbelievable.”

“We just have to try and practice that.”

True to his word, video leaked from the Springbok training camp show Erasmus teaching Andre Esterhuizen how to tackle – higher and without the use of arms!
